Delete your profile yourself

You can permanently delete your CHESSVOLA profile without contacting support:

1. sign in to CHESSVOLA;
2. open your profile;
3. next to the username edit button, select Delete profile;
4. enter the exact username and, for a password-based profile, the current password;
5. select Delete permanently.

Warning: this action cannot be undone.

What is deleted

We delete profile data, email, avatar, country, sign-in method, Google or Facebook links, active sessions, friends and requests, invitations, chat messages, and chess-puzzle progress.

Completed games may remain only in anonymized form, no longer linked to your profile, to preserve other players’ results and statistics.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected]. Include the profile email or username and sign-in method. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify ownership of the profile.

Requests are handled without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law.

Google and Facebook

Deleting your CHESSVOLA profile removes the linked Google or Facebook identifier from CHESSVOLA, but does not delete your Google or Facebook account. You may also revoke CHESSVOLA access in the relevant provider’s settings.
